The Original Lapboard

My husband has really gotten into outdoor barbecuing and when I bought these stale plates it made him feel even cooler!! Fancy meat, dishes with colorful vegetables on these amazing steak plates!!! We LOVE them!

I bought a custom beautifully stained and sealed lapboard very light but strong.
Made in USA! Kate recommended Mocha stain and it looks like the furniture in my home.
I’m very picky about details and love the quality and workmanship. 5 stars!

Contacted BORD about a customizing a shortboard for my husband. I had a general idea of the design, but wasn’t quite sure of how to put it together. BORD responded quickly with a few different design options - all of which were awesome. I picked my favorite, and received it shortly afterward.

My husband loves it, and I’ll be buying one for myself. Excellent communication and a high quality product. Don’t hesitate - you will use it for everything.

I LOVE my lap board! It makes the days I work remotely more comfy and way cozy! I just wish I had one when I was a student! Definitely would have made those finals week all nighters a better. The quality is top notch- you can tell those who made it care about producing good products. I have no doubt that it will last!

Love my lap board! Quality is fabulous. I ordered it at Christmas time, later in the season and thought it would come after Christmas. To my surprise it came right before! Super impressed with the owners. And the attention to detail.

This lap board is so nice to use while sitting on my rocker, couch, bed or even car. It’s perfectly smooth. Very strong, I live it!!!

Bought this for working on my Adirondack chairs and its fantastic--longboard works best for me.

TL;DR: Fantastic piece, very useful, quality construction, would recommend.

First, the owner was very helpful and responsive. Second, the board works great! it is lightweight and strong and sturdy with a really pleasant finish--smooth and high quality. Last the attention to detail with the slight cutout is ultimately quite nice and useful.

The only think I did to improve on it was add rubber stickies on the Bottom to keep it from sliding. Given the quality of this omission of this would not prevent my from buying more of these, and I would gladly pay extra if the owner wanted to add an option for a rubber bottom.
